We can now share the images of the DEAFBLIND SHAPE sculpture by Guido Dettoni, which was presented on October 7th in Barcelona.
It is a sensory tool –a tactile symbol– targetted to everybody in order to make evident that Deafblindness is a reality among us.
It is through the sense of touch that the artist guides us to “see with the hands”, the lack of vision and hearing.

- Guido Dettoni has donated his original sculpture and NESHER continues the artist’s selfless project. This organization, which represents the artist, makes it possible to buy a replica of the DEAFBLIND SHAPE through its on-line sale website and hence support Federación Española de Sordoceguera. Apsocecat, on his behalf and on behalf of all this community, thanks Guido Dettoni for his generosity and initiative for carrying out this supportive project born of a close relationship with deafblind people, families and professionals. Faithful to the spirit it was conceived with, the sculpture DEAFBLIND SHAPE can now be shared by many people.
We thank you for your interest and cooperation.
