Deafblind training is a fundamental axis for professionals, current and future to learn to detect disability and know the resources available to attend it.
For this reason there are two types of training:
- Didactic Talks
Introduction to the Deafblind given by our professionals. It is a theoretical-practical workshop for approximately two hours. For this activity, you need to make a prior appointment. Depending on the characteristics of the group this session can be delivered at our place or a place indicated by the applicant, provided that the trip is possible.
- Specialization sessions for mediators
Specific training in subjects inherent in the activity of the mediating with the Deafblind, such as First Aid, Ergonomics and postural hygiene, Communication techniques, etc.
- Where Can You Learn Catalan Signs?
In the following link you will find the map of centers where you can learn LSC, which we have now updated with new information.
Now you will also find the centers that offer regulated education in which there is LSC, such as centers with a mediation cycle, as well as universities (UB and UPF), which have training itineraries in which LSC is part of the curriculum.
With this, we respond to the requests that we made from different centers and we have a map that contains all the centers that offer Catalan sign language, in one way or another. This map geolocalises and gives contact information for each center and informs about the types of courses.
