The Garden of Queni

Urban garden and Interpretation Center for the Deafblind
The Queni garden arose with the idea of creating an integration space for people with Deafblindness, at the time of visibility and sensitisation of society . A joint project for collaboration and integration of the community with the environment of sensory disabilities.
The space, of 600m2 useful, is a transfer from the City council of Barcelona. It has tables for the cultivation of vegetables and aromatic plants, intended for workshops for people with Deafblindness. A place to offer opportunities for social interaction and the environment.
In the Queni garden the creation of a Multi-sensory area with interactive materials is also projected to allow immersion in the use of the senses.
